The College of St. Scholastica invites local music fans to celebrate the season in song with the 37th annual Handel’s “Messiah” Sing-Along at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 12 in the Mitchell Auditorium.
The Sing-Along is directed once again by music department emeritus faculty member Shelley Gruskin, who has been with the event since its start in 1981. Accompaniment is by the St. Scholastica Center for Early Music Orchestra.
Everyone is welcome. There is no admission charge, and scores can be purchased at the door if needed.
The Handel’s “Messiah” Sing-Along is part of St. Scholastica’s Cambiata Concert Series. “Cambiata” is Italian for “changed.” The series celebrates changing styles and the enduring value of music.
