The University of Wisconsin-Superior Alumni Association will present the free public forum Lifelong Learning in Northern Wisconsin on Thursday, April 4, at 6 p.m. in the Erlenbach Lecture Hall.
The UW-Superior alumni panel will include Crystal Hintzman, ’98, director of curriculum and instruction, School District of Superior; Christina Kline, ’11, interim director, online learning, UW-Superior; Andrea Schullo, ’87, associate dean, Wisconsin Indianhead Technical College; and Marlene Wisuri, ’76, self-employed artist and publisher at Dovetailed Press. Kathryn Guimond, director of the Center for Continuing Education, will serve as moderator.
UW-Superior was created in 1893 as Superior Normal School to prepare teachers for small, rural schools. In its 125 year history, the university’s alumni have included state education leaders, state and national Teachers of the Year, hundreds of superintendents and principals, and thousands of teachers who have served their communities with dedication.
The Erlenbach Lecture Hall is located on the first floor of Swenson Hall, 1610 Weeks Ave., on the UW-Superior campus. This event is co-sponsored by the UW-Superior Center for Continuing Education and the UW-Superior Foundation. Refreshments will be provided courtesy of the UW-Superior Foundation. This event is the fourth and final Alumni Forums scheduled during the university’s 125th Anniversary celebration.
