Dementia Friendly Duluth, together with the Duluth Police Department, has wrapped a squad car in the Dementia Friendly Duluth logo and colors. Their aim is to heighten the awareness of DFD and its projects throughout the Duluth community.

“Having this eye-catching display helps us spread our name, and therefore, helps us spread our mission,” said Mimi Stender, Dementia Friendly Duluth Coordinator. “We’re thrilled to have the Duluth Police Departments as partners.”

Dementia Friendly Duluth is an initiative of The Victory Fund. Its aim is to provide support and guidance for those affected by dementia and their caregivers and loved ones. DFD has also initiated several community projects to further its mission. These underway projects include Dementia Friends, The Victory Chorus and Age Well Memory Café.
