Anthony Olson has been hired as a college lab assistant for Lake Superior College’s Center for Advanced Aviation.
Olson will be responsible for maintenance of LSC’s Aviation Maintenance Technician program tool room and shop area and also tracking and coordination of aircraft maintenance for LSC’s Professional Pilot program.
Prior to Lake Superior College, Olson worked at AAR Corporation in Duluth as an aircraft maintenance technician for the past two years. He is also a veteran with more than twenty years of service in the U.S. Marine Corps and Coast Guard.
Olson graduated from Lake Superior College’s Aviation Maintenance Technician program in May 2018.
Olson and other members of the LSC Center for Advanced Aviation team are in Oshkosh, Wisconsin this week representing Lake Superior College at EAA AirVenture. The annual airshow, held at Wittman Regional Airport in Oshkosh, is the home of one of the world’s largest annual aviation events which attracted over 590,000 attendees last year. The event begins today and runs through Sunday.
