Anneke Linser had two goals and an assist to lead the Bulldogs to a 6-0 victory and a WCHA sweep against St. Cloud State at The Oil Can in Duluth. UMD won the series opener, 3-2, Friday night.
“We took the momentum from the third period last night and carried it into today,” said UMD head coach Maura Crowell. “We converted on a lot more of our shots and we learned a lot about our team last night and fixed what we needed to fix for today.”
. As expected, the Bulldogs pounded Minnesota Crookston 63-0 in a Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference football Saturday afternoon at Malosky Stadium in Duluth.
UMD (6-3, 5-0 NSIC North) led 42-0 at the half and rushed for a season-high 448 yards on Senior Day. Minnesota Crookston (0-9) had 144 total yards and four first downs.
The Bulldogs visit the University of Mary at 2 p.m. Saturday.
