Local high school carolers call upon Downtown Duluth

The Greater Downtown Council is inviting the public to enjoy carolers from local high schools this week and next as they promenade their way through the Downtown Duluth skywalk system.

The Marshall School Chamber Singers will fill the skywalk with seasonal melodies over the lunch-hour on Friday. The caroling will start at the Holiday Center at 11:30 a.m. and will move through the skywalk, with performance stops at North Shore Bank skywalk level and the lobby of US Bank. The Chamber Singers will finish with a performance in the Wells Fargo lobby starting at 12:15 p.m.

On Thursday, Dec. 13, the East High Choralaires will sing their way through the skywalk system beginning at 11 a.m. in the lobby of Republic Bank. Then they’ll move across the avenue to the Wells Fargo Bank lobby for a performance stop. The Choralaires will continue caroling as they make their way to the lobby of US Bank and then onto the Holiday Center around noon.

Denfeld’s Maroon 16 will carol on Tuesday, Dec. 18, beginning in the lobby at PS Rudie Medical Clinic at 11:30 a.m. Then they will travel through the skywalk system with performance stops at the Tech Village atrium at 11:45 a.m., the skywalk at North Shore Bank at noon before wrapping up at the Holiday Center at 12:15 p.m.
