Bulldogs clip host Maine, 2-1

Sophomore forward Jade Miller scored the game-winning goal at 10:03 of the third period as the Bulldogs defeated Maine 2-1 in a nonconference college men’s hockey game Friday night before an announced crowd of 3,483 at Alfond Arena in Orono, Maine. The University of Minnesota Duluth will engage in its first road series of the young 2017-18 season this Friday and Saturday when the Bulldogs pay a visit to Bangor, Maine for a pair of games with the University of Maine.
