Highway 5 bridge over Bear River to close for three weeks for final project phase

The final phase of construction has resumed on the new bridge on County State Aid Highway 5 over the Bear River. The new bridge was installed and opened late last fall, but finishing touches – including final paving, striping and shoulder work – needed to wait until spring. Detour begins today for final work on Highway 88 bridge west of Ely

The final phase of the project to replace the bridge on County State Aid Highway 88 (Grant McMahon Boulevard) west of Ely begins today, and that means the road will be closed and a detour in place for the next three weeks.
