Duluth Public Schools Notebook

Duluth Denfeld Theater will present Loving Lives, Alan Haehnel’s hysterical full length comedy, on April 26-28 at 7 p.m. at Denfeld Auditorium. Tickets will be available only at the door — $10 general admission and children under 10 pay their age.

. Duluth Public Schools’ 2018 Student Art Exhibition runs from Monday through Sunday, April 22 at Barnes & Noble Court at Miller Hill Mall. An opening reception is scheduled from 4 to 6 p.m. Monday.

. Kindergarten students from Lester Park and Congdon Park Elementary Schools recently visited the green house at Duluth East to learn about seeds, how they grow, and plant tomatoes as part of the annual Tomato Man project.

Students will grow their tomato plants over the summer.

The project was made possible through an Ag Literacy Grant from the MN Department of Agriculture. — Kathleen Kaufman

. During their spring trip, members of the Denfeld Band stopped at the famous Sun Studio in Memphis,TN and had a chance to do some recording (catch the Million Dollar Quartet in the background).
