Essentia Health-St. Mary’s Hospice invites the public to attend upcoming annual “Service of Remembrance” events throughout the Northland. The services are to remember patients who have died while in hospice, honor their families and friends and thank their caregivers.
“These are very special and moving events for our families who have experienced a loss in the past year through Essentia Health hospice,” said Sandee Carlson, who directs Essentia’s hospice program. “It’s a way for us to gather together and remember the special people in their lives and to meet and connect with the care teams in a peaceful, meaningful way.”
Service of Remembrance events are nondenominational and everyone is welcome. To accommodate attendees and in consideration of families that live throughout the Northland, three separate services will be held and more than 900 hospice patients will be honored. St. Mary’s Hospice has been privileged to honor hospice patients and care teams for the past 25 years through these special services.
