Take a Bow: The Hermantown-Proctor Jazz dance team has advanced to state.

HERMANTOWN BOYS BASKETBALL

The Hawks will host nonconference Princeton, as both teams wind down to the end of the 2018-19 regular season. The Hawks are led by senior power forward Connor Bich and junior point guard Peter Soumis.

Hawks’ final regular season games:

Feb. 19 — at Grand Rapids

Feb. 20 — at Duluth Denfeld

HERMANTOWN GIRLS BASKETBALL

The Hawks will close out the regular season with road games Bemidji and Proctor, before playing host to Hibbing on Tuesday, Feb. 19.

Hermantown is led by elite sophomore forward Elly Schmitz and junior guards Ava Asgard and Brita Birkeland.

PROCTOR-HERMANTOWN GIRLS HOCKEY

Megan Madill, Michaela Phinney and Dehli Heikes scored goals and Ryan Gray had 26 saves to lift Proctor-Hermantown to a 3-0 Section 7AA semifinal high school girls hockey victory over Hibbing-Chisholm on Saturday at historic Miner’s Memorial Arena in Virginia.

The Mirage (17-7-3) will face Duluth Marshall (19-8) in the 7AA championship game at 7 p.m. Wednesday at Miner’s. The Hilltoppers blanked Cloquet 1-0 in the second semifinal matchup late Saturday.
