LSC Student Services contributes to Life House

Submitted / Lake Superior College
Lake Superior College’s Student Services collected more than $500 worth of new socks, gift cards, toiletries, diapers and groceries to be donated to Life House to help homeless and under-privileged youth in our community. Lake Superior College serves many students who have used Life House services, and we truly appreciate all the organization does for our region’s youth.

Incorporated in 1991, Life House has provided homeless and street youth ages 14-24 with unconditional support, transitional housing, and a safe alternative to the streets for 25 years. Life House serves approximately 700 unduplicated youth and 75 of their young children annually. In 1996, Life House opened the first transitional living facility for homeless youth in Minnesota.
