College Men
St. Cloud State rallied to defeat UMD 2-1 before an announced crowd of 7,149 at The Oil Can in Duluth, ending the Bulldogs’ six-game conference winning streak. Freshman forward Nick Swaney scored for UMD (14-11-3, 8-8 NCHC), which defeated the Huskies 5-1 in the series opener Friday night. UMD visits first-place Denver next weekend.

Garrett Worth and Ryder Donovan scored two goals apiece to lift Duluth East to a 5-1 victory over Bloomington Jefferson at Essentia Duluth Heritage Center. The Greyhounds peppered Jaguars goaltender Evan Redepenning with 49 shots. Parker Kleive stopped 13 of 14 shots for fourth-ranked/Class 2A Duluth East (15-1-3)
