NEW YORK, N.Y. — Hermantown’s Neal Pionk has earned a spot on the New York Rangers’ 23-man opening night roster. The 23-year-old defenseman had a goal and 14 points in 28 games as a late-season call-up by the Rangers a year ago. Garrett Worth scored two goals to lead Duluth East to a 3-1 victory over Grand Rapids on Monday night at IRA Civic Center in Grand Rapids, in a rematch of the 2017 Section 7AA final.
