Duluth officials conduct initial assessment following storm surge

By Pakou Ly City of Duluth officials have conducted a very preliminary assessment of the damages as a result of yesterday’s storm surge. During the assessment, the city reviewed multiple areas such as Park Point, Brighton Beach, the Lakewalk Trail and western neighborhoods. City seeks volunteers for beach clean up

The City of Duluth Parks and Recreation division is organizing a beach clean up on Sunday from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. to help maintain and care for the beach areas following a storm surge on October 27. City reopens segment of Lakewalk Trail by Fitgers Complex

By Pakou Ly The City of Duluth Parks and Recreation division has been working diligently since yesterday’s winter storm to clear debris from the Lakewalk Trail and is reopening the section from Endion Station public restrooms to the Portland Malt Shoppe and Fitgers Complex area.
