SUPERIOR, Wis. – The Black Student Union (BSU) organization at the University of Wisconsin-Superior will offer its popular Soul Food dinner and program Saturday, Feb. 24, at 5:30 p.m. in the Yellowjacket Union Great Room at UW-Superior.
Music, food and fun will highlight this event which brings the campus and community together. Speakers include Kishia Christopher and Sonia Smith. Frankie Soto will host the event and share his spoken word poetry. Named the 2016 Multicultural Spoken Word Poet of the Year at the National Poetry Awards, Soto has appeared at college campuses throughout the country.
Tickets are $5 for faculty, staff and community members, and free for the first 100 UW-Superior students.
