The University of Wisconsin-Superior Music Department will hold its Percussion Ensemble concert, with guest percussionists from the Duluth Superior Symphony Youth Orchestra and guest singers from the UW-Superior A Capella Choir, on Tuesday, Nov. 28, at 7:30 p.m. in the Thorpe Langley Auditorium.
The concert, entitled “Uneven Souls,” will include a variety of music from ragtime to bluegrass to Eastern European drumming and East Asian musical influences. UW-Superior student Johnathan Erickson, who has also performed with the Mesabi Symphony Orchestra, will be featured on the marimba for a piece entitled “Uneven Souls,” by Nebojsa Zivkovich.
Tickets are $5 for adults, $3 for seniors and free for students. The Thorpe Langley Auditorium is located in Old Main at 1710 Weeks Ave. in Superior. For questions or additional information, call (715) 394-8115 or email email@example.com.
