Section 7AAAA Quarterfinals

Cloquet (2-6) at Duluth Denfeld (5-3), 7 p.m. Winner advances to face No. 2 seed Hermantown in a semifinal Saturday at 6 p.m. in Hermantown. The Hunters, who have lost three of their last four, are led by senior halfback Taye Manns and lineman Rajon Gamble. The Lumberjacks were blitzed by defending 7AAAA champion North Branch 68-6 last Wednesday, after trailing 54-0 at the half. Cloquet is rebuilding with a strong sophomore group.

Rock Ridge (4-4) at Grand Rapids (5-3), 7 p.m. Winner advances to face No. 1 seed North Branch in a semifinal Saturday at 6 p.m. in North Branch.

Section 7AAAAA Quarterfinal

Duluth East (2-6) at Sauk Rapids-Rice (4-4), 7 p.m. Winner advances to face No. 2 seed Andover in a semifinal at 1 p.m. Saturday in Andover.

Section 7AAA Quarterfinal

Hibbing (2-6) at Esko (4-4), 5 p.m. Winner advances to face No. 1 seed Pequot Lakes in a semifinal at 2 p.m. Saturday. Two Harbors will host Pierz in the other semifinal, at 2 p.m. Saturday.
