Said Craig Smith: "The irrigation replacement project has been underway since last fall. The main retention pond has been reconfigured and #18 on the Middle nine has been re-shaped. The contractor’s plan is to begin work on or around April 1 and to install new infrastructure on the Middle, Back, and Front nines in that order. Each nine’s completion is projected to take 8-10 weeks.

Additionally, the Department of Natural Resources will be performing creek restoration work this season and will coordinate their work with the contractor to minimize golf course conflicts.

Superintendent Josh Krause does not expect any significant winter turf damage on the greens and is looking forward to warming weather and soil temps rising. His team removed dead trees throughout the course and repaired the cart path culvert bumps on #4.

We appreciate your patience as we work through the construction this season. There will be 18 holes available for golfers throughout the season and we aim to have construction completed this year."
