A Dangerous Pick for VP

Kamala Harris has decided that our neighborly socialist Governor, Tim Walz, will be her choice for Vice President. This is a dangerous pick given Governor Walz has failed Minnesotans time and time again. During his tenure as Governor, Tim Walz:

Gave free college, healthcare, and driver’s licenses to illegal immigrants so they could vote.

Attempted to make Minnesota a “sanctuary” state and continues his work to do so.

Squandered a $19 billion budget surplus.

Raised taxes by $10 billion.

Increased government spending by nearly 50%.

Let Minneapolis burn for three days, afterward calling the riots “righteous anger.”

Oversaw a recruitment and retention crisis in Minnesota law enforcement.

Allowed assaults on law enforcement officers to double since 2019.

Taxed Minnesotan’s Covid relief.

Set up a “snitch line” during Covid to pit neighbors against each other.

Allowed the worst Covid relief scandal to steal $250 million of taxpayer dollars intended for hungry children.

Put tampons in boys’ bathrooms.

Allowed men to play in women’s sports and children to undergo gender experiment surgeries, both of which are policies still in practice today.

Democrats are doubling down on their extreme socialist agenda. This is the most dangerous and socialist ticket in the history of our country.

The Biden-Harris Administration’s Appeasement of Terrorists

Ensuring national security and the safety of citizens is the primary responsibility of the federal government. As your Congressman, this is my top priority.

Unfortunately, the Biden-Harris Administration is prioritizing placating their radical base over the safety of Americans. This is evident given their weakness on the international stage and their dereliction of duty at the border.

The effects of the Biden-Harris Administration’s ineptitude have been devastating. Last year, the Special Inspector General for Afghanistan Reconstruction could not assure Congress that the Taliban, who took over Afghanistan after the botched 2021 withdrawal that killed 13 Americans, was not receiving funds from the United States. And several auditors have warned that the Biden-Harris Administration’s $2.8 billion in “humanitarian” aid for Afghanistan has directly benefited the Taliban rather than those harmed by the withdrawal.

Last September, the Biden-Harris Administration gave $6 billion to the world’s largest state sponsor of terrorism, Iran, on the 22nd anniversary of 9/11. Less than a month later, Hamas terrorists, who are directly supported by Iran, committed the deadly October 7th terrorist attack that killed 1,200 innocent Israelis.

Finally, the Biden-Harris Administration allowed a plea deal to be struck for Khalid Shaikh Mohammed, Walid bin Attash, and Mustafa al-Hawsawi, the masterminds of 9/11. Thankfully, public outcry and pressure from Congressional Republicans forced the Biden-Harris Administration to rescind this deal with terrorists.

Gross negligence and incompetence continue to dominate the Biden-Harris Administration’s foreign policy, all while our borders remain wide open. The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has reported record levels of terrorist encounters along the northern and southern borders. Just last year, DHS detained an Al-Shaabab terrorist who was attempting to enter the United States illegally before releasing him into the United States. This terrorist was later found in Minneapolis. These encounters, the millions of known “gotaways,” and the influx of human and drug trafficking have created the worst organized crime and national security crisis our nation has faced. It’s clear that the policies of mass parole, catch-and-release, and open borders are working for terrorists, but not Americans.

The Biden-Harris Administration inherited secure borders when they came to office. Instead of keeping President Trump’s successful border policies in place, they have taken 65 separate actions to undermine our security, causing the crisis we are enduring today. The Biden-Harris Administration must simply reverse their catastrophic Executive Orders. Still, House Republicans passed the strongest border security legislation in history nearly two years ago. It is still sitting on Majority Leader Chuck Schumer’s desk waiting for consideration.

Minnesotans don’t want their tax dollars going to terrorists, and they want to feel safe. Under this administration, these pleas fall on deaf ears, but I will continue to fight against the Biden-Harris Administration and work to restore the safety of Americans.
