Today, the St. Louis County Board honored Beyond the Yellow Ribbon Hibbing-Chisholm for its unwavering commitment to supporting military personnel, veterans, and their families. The commendations went to Jeff Ronchetti, Sandy Wakefield, Dave Wakefield, Chris Magnusson and Larry Pocrnich for their exceptional volunteer work. Bob Krog (DAV) and Nadine Wells (St. Louis County Veterans Service Officer) were also acknowledged for their invaluable contributions to the group's veteran services.

The Oliver Bridge, which crosses the St. Louis River at the junction of Minnesota Hwy 39 and Wisconsin Hwy 105, will be closed for inspections from Monday, September 9, to Friday, September 13. The closure times are scheduled daily from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The bridge will close at 8:30 a.m. and reopen to traffic at 4:30 p.m. after the inspection equipment has been cleared.

Variable message signs will be placed by Friday, September 6, ahead of the upcoming daytime closures. These signs will remain in place throughout the inspection period to alert commuters.
